St Stephen’s is a Covid Secure place of worship. In line with Government guidance we require a mask to be worn at public worship before you enter the Church, and have set the Church up to adhere to social distancing requirements. We also have a Track and Trace register on arrival, and ask for you to use the hand gel dispenser. Music is being listened to, but no singing will take place until advice changes from the Archbishops of Canterbury and York or Diocese of Chelmsford. You can read the Church of England’s Coronavirus (COVID-19) guidance for churches here. You can find a live stream service or event to watch from home here.
We are committed to Safeguarding and take our duties and obligations to all extremely seriously.
The PCC has adopted the Church of England’s policies and best practice on safeguarding children and vulnerable adults, which can be found on the Church of England’s website.
